Workplace Wellness
Onsite wellness programming built around private, restorative Reiki sessions. Thirty quiet minutes where your people are not asked to produce anything, prove anything, or perform. Just rest, received.

Why This Matters
Teams are asked to be resilient, engaged, and available, often while quietly running on empty. The programming meant to help frequently adds to the list: another platform to log into, another challenge to complete, another session to attend after hours.
This is the opposite of that. Workplace Reiki is something your people receive. There is nothing to learn, nothing to sign up for afterward, and nothing asked of them in return. They walk in, they are cared for, and they walk back into their day with more room in them than they had an hour before.
I call the underlying idea anti self abandonment. Rest is not a reward for finishing everything. It is what makes the work sustainable in the first place.
The Experience
Around forty five minutes away from the desk per person. A private thirty minute Reiki session, supported by noise cancelling headphones and curated sound, followed by a short window to reflect and return.
01
Step away from the pace of the workday and settle into an intentionally prepared space.
02
Receive a private Reiki session supported by optional meditation and immersive sound.
03
Take a few moments to notice what you are experiencing and reconnect with yourself.
04
Transition back into your day with space to carry the experience forward.

What is provided
All your organization needs to provide is an appropriate private or quiet space and access to the scheduled participants. A dedicated wellness room is not required.
Where It Fits

A restorative anchor for a day already dedicated to your people.
Something your team receives rather than another thing they attend.
Private sessions running alongside your existing programming.
A quiet counterweight to a full agenda, on site wherever you gather.
Space to integrate, not only absorb, what the day has asked of them.
A day built entirely around your team stepping back and receiving.
Monthly or quarterly sessions that become part of the rhythm.

The Research
Reiki has been studied across stress, anxiety, burnout, quality of life, pain, and sleep, with encouraging results in several areas. It is not a medical treatment and I do not present it as one. The research library holds every study in full, including the critical reviews, so you can read it yourself.
Read the research libraryControlled studies in nurses diagnosed with burnout recorded changes in blood pressure, salivary IgA, heart rate variability, and cortisol following single sessions.
A 2024 meta-analysis in BMC Palliative Care pooled controlled trials and reported a favorable effect of Reiki on anxiety, while calling for larger trials.
A 2025 meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials in Systematic Reviews reported positive pooled effects on quality of life measures.
Trials across clinical and workplace settings report improvements in reported pain, fatigue, and sleep quality following short Reiki sessions.
Ways To Work Together
Every engagement is scoped to your team size, your space, and the window you have. Investment is customized to the format and shared after a short consultation.

Questions

No. Reiki is offered as a complementary wellness experience, and participants do not need a particular spiritual, religious, or energetic belief system to take part. Most people arrive curious rather than convinced, and that is a perfectly good place to start.
Skepticism is welcome and participation is always voluntary. Nobody is asked to adopt a belief, explain themselves, or perform anything. Practically, what a skeptical participant receives is thirty quiet minutes of rest with sound and no demands on them, which tends to be worth having on its own terms.
No. Reiki originated in Japan as a practice of gentle hands on and hands off energy work, and I offer it as a secular wellness experience. There is no prayer, doctrine, scripture, or religious framework involved, and nothing in a session conflicts with a participant holding their own faith or none at all.
It can, and it does not have to. Sessions are adapted to each participant's preference, and we confirm touch and no touch options with you while planning so your team knows exactly what to expect before they arrive.
The core Reiki session is approximately thirty minutes, with approximately fifteen additional minutes for reflection and transition, so plan on about forty five minutes away from the desk per participant.
That depends on the event format, the space available, the schedule, and the number of days. Tell me your team size and the window you have in mind and I will design a realistic schedule around it rather than overpromising.
An appropriate private or quiet space and access to the scheduled participants. A dedicated wellness room is not required; a closed office, a conference room, or a quiet corner of a retreat venue all work. I handle the Reiki experience and bring the sound and meditation equipment and session materials.
Reiki has been studied across stress, anxiety, quality of life, pain, fatigue, sleep, and physiological measures, and findings are promising in some areas and mixed in others. It is not a proven medical treatment, and I do not present it as one. You can read the studies, including their limitations, in the research library.
Yes, and that is usually the best fit. Workplace Reiki is designed to complement existing wellness initiatives, staff appreciation programs, retreats, wellness days, and other employee wellbeing programming rather than replace any of it.
Yes. Monthly, quarterly, and customized ongoing partnerships are available, and recurring access is where teams tend to feel the difference most.
No. Reiki is offered as a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, HR support, or appropriate workplace interventions. It sits alongside those things, never in place of them.
